Vireo Systems, an online retailer of a range of wellness brands, needed to transition its old website with an adjacent Zencart store, into a Woocommerce website including a new theme. They were also looking to offer customers the opportunity to set up a subscription service on their account so products could be automatically sent on a regular basis and billed to their account.
There was also an overhaul of the site’s navigation so customers could quickly find what they were looking for. After grouping families of products into categories, the dropdown showed these categories with an image that gave an indication of what the products were for.
Once the Woocommerce transition had been completed, Vireo also wanted to develop a “site-within-a-site” for a feature called “Vireo Systems Network” or “VSN”. Intended as a lifestyle family of channels, a cohesive page style had to be created and allow for features such as video and image carousels that could also link to other content such as a Recipe section.
